Program Introduction

General Information
The Graphic Design Program, which started to admit associate degree students in the 2019-2020 academic year, includes the necessary courses for the creation of graphical printed and digital products needed in the field of advertising. 

Students graduate from the graphic design program by completing 120 ECTS / ECTS credits in 4 semesters.

In higher education institutions, the provisions of the regulations on the principles of transition, double major, minor and inter-institutional credit transfer between associate degree and undergraduate programs are applied.

Program Objectives
The main goal of the graphic design program is based on meeting the need for innovative and highly aware staff with theoretical and practical infrastructure, which the sector needs. In the light of this information, the goal of the graphic design program is to train professional designers who can produce competently in the field of graphic design by organizing typography, form, visual design, printing process, packaging, illustration, digital publishing, interface design and other information required by the field.

Program Admission Requirements
The basic admission requirements are that candidates must be high school graduates, meet the requirements set by ÖSYM and have the required score. Individuals are also required to meet the admission requirement for lateral transfers.

Graduation Requirements
The student graduates from the program by completing 120 ECTS/ECTS credits. In order to successfully complete all of the courses available in the program (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS), the student must obtain a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. In addition, the student must get 65 points out of 100 from the 40-day vocational internship.

There are job opportunities in advertising agencies, digital agencies, advertising departments of companies, newspapers, magazines, printing houses, publishing companies, multimedia agencies and advertising photography.
