- Theoretical and practical knowledge about the subjects related to the field.
- Ability to use mathematical knowledge in his/her field.
- Ability to draw the observed object and imaginary designs by hand and in digital media.
- Ability to use typography, photography and color effectively as visual communication tools in visual design studies.
- Ability to collect, interpret and apply data to solve visual design problems.
- The ability to communicate effectively in Turkish, both orally and in writing, and the ability to use a foreign language at least at the European Language Portfolio A2 General Level.
- The ability to follow national and international developments in the field and to easily adapt to the innovations required by the developments by adhering to professional ethical rules.
- Ability to work effectively in disciplinary and multidisciplinary teams and to work individually.
